This day started mid morning when we woke up. We were able to sneak out of the garage without having to pay an extra fine which is nice even though I didn’t really expect him to. We went immediately breakfast at the Hollywood Café which was the best crab Benedict I’ve ever had my life. It came with hashbrowns and fruit in the head cook like a square. This was one of the best breakfasts of the trip in my opinion.
From here we went across the street and Ashley and it up buying a hoodie that says San Francisco on it just as a memorabilia. Onward, we ended up driving up to Lombard Street and from there going up to Nob Hill to explore the hotels so just mark Hopkins and the famous Fairmont hotel or Tony Bennett performed.
As the day progressed, We ended up getting coffee at the Fairmont and swinging by the restroom so we have to worry about that the rest of the day. From there we went across the street to the cathedral and enjoy the inside for about an hour. There’s a feature on the floor of the cathedral that is a line to pattern that goes in one direction that want to walk as a maze so Ashley did that.
After this we headed over to the gardens to see the Japanese garden which we’ve been planning to the whole trip. These are excellent and relaxing is it featured many different terrains in various types of plants but one of the best things of the garden was the macho tea. This one the most relaxing spot we’ve been in the whole trip but also was quite expensive I believe nine dollars for a cup of tea. Nonetheless we spent about an hour and a half here in the Gardens.
From this point we went over to the Golden Gate bridge area and enjoyed a short walk out of the pier near the national seashore area. This is on the south side of the bridge on the Eastside. From this point we can walk up the hill to the top of the bridge and begin the public walkway across. The Golden Gate bridge just want to most impressive structures in America and absolutely iconic. Turns out there’s a lot of people that commit suicide on this bridge, unfortunately. This is where we walked all the way across the bridge with hopes to see sicker out the bottom. We did not find it but instead turn back around. This is been with side to grab a snack on the way back at the snack shop and head to the car.
From this point we head over to the Pier near the cathedral And enjoyed dinner it’s Italian place that we found out while walking. This was a very relaxing dinner and almost seemed like I was in Italy as the cathedral overlooking the park. Once we had a few drinks and enjoyed dinner we went to the park up sleeping for about an hour. After this we went to various bars around the area.
Once we had enough to drink it was almost nighttime and we decide to go to a speakeasy. Unfortunately for us is was not open that day of the week. It was time to head to sleep in the car, but this is when tragedy strikes us. Poor Ashley was sleeping in the backseat in her stomach started to hurt. I told her it was most likely a stomachache and that it will be gone but in an hour, but it got significantly worse. So she said we need to go the hospital. So we did we went to St. Francis hospital and from there she had an x-ray at one in the morning that showed that she had a twisted intestine. This was causing blockage not allowing anyways to move through. She immediately went right to surgery and thus began a three day tenure in the hospital. So begins a turmulous couple days.
